Position Purpose:
The Business Analyst I Intern will support business process documentation, operational analysis, and improvement initiatives across multiple teams. This role is highly collaborative and provides hands-on exposure to real business operations in a regulated, enterprise environment. On a daily basis, the intern will work closely with Business Analysts, People Leaders, and operational partners to learn how processes function and how improvements are identified and implemented.
Typical day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Assisting with documenting current-state business processes through meeting notes, workflow diagrams, and written procedures
- Reviewing existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and format compliance
- Supporting updates to process libraries and SharePoint repositories
- Participating in meetings with operational teams to observe and learn how requirements are gathered and clarified
- Helping track action items, risks, and open questions from meetings and work sessions
- Performing basic data review or analysis to support process improvement efforts (e.g., identifying trends, duplicates, or gaps)
- Developing simple visuals such as process flowcharts, checklists, or summary documents
- Supporting project coordination activities including scheduling, status updates, and documentation follow-ups
- Conducting quality checks on documentation and deliverables before submission or publication
- Learning and following standard governance, naming conventions, and approval processes

- Microsoft Teams for collaboration

Skills/Experience:
The ideal candidate is an organized, curious, and motivated student who is eager to learn how business operations work and how process improvements are identified and implemented in a professional environment.
Education & Background
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, Analytics, Health Administration, or a related field
- Interest in business analysis, operations, process improvement, or project management
- Prior internship, coursework, or project experience in a business or analytical role is a plus but not required
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to organize information clearly and accurately
- Experience with or interest in learning process mapping or documentation tools (Visio)
- Basic analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data review

Location: Can work in any of the 50 US States.
Remote(summer): 40/hrs. a week, 12 week program (May-August2026)
Pay Range :$18-26/hr.
