Business Operations Analyst Intern (Undergraduate - Summer 2026)
You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.
Position Purpose:
- Data Gathering, collect historical data from multiple sources, validate and clean the data for consistency and accuracy. Data Consolidation, combine all sources into a single, centralized data repository, ensure data can be easy querying. Dashboard Development, use tools like Power BI or Excel with Power Query to create interactive dashboards, Include filters, trend analysis, and KPIs relevant to your business goals. Tool Launch - Package the dashboard into a user-friendly interface. Deploy for easy access.
- This role will give interns the opportunity to contribute Impactful work to real business initiatives such as process optimization, data analysis, and dashboard development. These projects often tie directly to strategic goals like operational excellence and efficiency improvements. The role is appealing because it will Develop Skills that include exposure to tools like Power BI, SQL, and automation workflows builds technical and analytical capabilities that are in high demand. It will stretch the intern in Capstone Projects where they can lead signature initiatives that showcase their ability to solve business challenges and present solutions to leadership, creating tangible impact.
Skills:
- Smartsheet (nice to have), MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Teams, PPT), Power BI (not required), Communication Skills, Analytical Skills, Presentation skills, creative approach to understand and display data, critical thinking, research.
Additional Details:
Location: Can work in any of the 50 US States.
Remote(summer): 40/hrs. a week, 12 week program (May-August2026)
Pay Range :$18-26/hr.
