Are you passionate about innovation and finding creative solutions for customers to improve their network stability?
We are looking for a dynamic and results-focused Network Technical Architect for our Edmonton branch who will lead the design and implementation of network infrastructure solutions for our clients.
A Day in the Life:
- Designing, architecting, and implementing industry leading Cloud and other network solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy consulting skills, both business and technical
- Creating detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information
- Working as a subject matter expert to deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful completion of the project
- Providing guidance to clients on-site and remotely supporting their network infrastructure
- Managing the day to day administration, support, security, maintenance, and monitoring of network infrastructure
- Working with other Long View business units and practices to ensure projects progress efficiently and in a timely fashion towards successful closure
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of industry experience working as a subject matter expert in the network architecture space
- 5+ years of experience advising on, managing and/or successfully delivering the following technology stack:
- o Cisco
- o Meraki
- o Fortinet
- o DNAC
- o ACI
- o SDWAN
- o Cloud Security
- B.S/MS in Engineering and/or Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Netscaler, F5 and Palo Alto considered an asset
- Solid understanding of open-source and other tools to assist in monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
