The Role
Under the supervision of the Manager of Project Deployment, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering client installation projects while ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction. A project manager will coordinate resources, manage timelines, lead project meetings, track progress, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the implementation.
What You'll Do
- Organize and deliver client installation projects from kickoff to Go Live
- Plan project scope, timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties involved in the project
- Strengthen trust and transparency with clients
- Ensure adherence to standards in the project management tool (Kantata)
- Monitor risks, issues, dependencies and escalations
- Ensure the smooth execution of projects and adherence to timelines
- Lead project meetings and produce clear minutes and action logs
- Maintain accurate and accessible project documentation
- Inform clients of project progress and manage escalations and anomalies
- Create and maintain project schedules, trackers and dashboards
- Prepare and lead project kickoff, review and milestone meetings
- Document client configurations and follow the installation process
- Collaborate with technical teams for environment readiness and testing
- Identify improvement opportunities in project execution and workflows
- Prepare internal and client status reports
- Support change request evaluation and documentation
- Perform other related tasks as needed
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- 5-7 years of experience in project management or a similar role
- Fluently bilingual in French and English
- Experience in software implementation, telecommunications or public safety is an asset
- Strong IT and telecommunications understanding
- Solid project management skills and discipline
- Experience with project tracking systems such as Kantata, Jira and Confluence
- Understanding of software deployment, integration or technical project lifecycles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational skills, leadership and initiative
- Ability to manage pressure, conflicting priorities and change
- Customer focus and proactive problem solving
This position requires a security clearance from the Government of Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must successfully obtain and maintain a Reliability security clearance.
