2026 Fall - GRM, Credit Risk Analytics Engineering Intern (4 Months)

What is the opportunity?
Are you interested in the opportunity to bring innovative solutions to high impact programs?  Reporting to the Director, Credit Risk Infrastructure, you will work on developing complex systems that will support RBC’s stress testing (CCAR, EWST, MST) and credit provisioning (CECL, IFRS9) programs.
What will you do?

• Develop and maintain ETL pipeline
• Create and maintain technical documentations on different modules delivered to support the programs

Must Have:

• Pursuing a university degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Math, or Computer Science.
• Working knowledge with Python, SQL
• Working knowledge with version control systems, particularly Git
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter with a curious mind to challenge and question the status quo

Nice-to-Have:

• Proven experience in Python, SQL, Git
• Experience working with big data solutions such as Spark, Trino

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Fall 2026 Student placement with a start date of September 2026, and end date of December 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:

• Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of December 2026 ; or
• If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in December 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
