About the Role

As a Plooto Account Executive on the Channel Sales team, you own the full relationship with accounting and bookkeeping firms across Canada: sourcing pipeline from inbound, outbound, and industry events, meeting firm principals and staff in person and virtually, and bringing both the firm and their clients onto the Plooto platform. You're a full-cycle closer, just as comfortable running a fast-moving pipeline as you are building trust face to face, whether that's in a boardroom or at an industry event.

What You'll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, for accounting and bookkeeping firm partners and their SMB clients across Canada
  • Manage inbound leads, qualify opportunities, and run outbound prospecting to build your own pipeline of accounting and bookkeeping firms
  • Source and convert new pipeline from industry events, conferences, and accounting community gatherings across Ontario and Canada
  • Book and deliver in-person and virtual product demos that clearly articulate Plooto's value to the firm and their clients
  • Travel regularly within your territory, with a home base in Ontario, to meet firms and prospects face to face
  • Guide new firm partners through onboarding and drive their clients' adoption of Plooto to maximize activation
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce, forecast with precision, and consistently exceed revenue targets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Marketing, and Partnerships on handoffs, event coverage, and channel strategy
  • Be an active contributor to team culture, sharing best practices and living Plooto's values every day
What You'll Bring
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a SaaS environment, with deals sourced across inbound, outbound, and event or conference channels
  • Field sales experience: confident and effective running in-person meetings, not only virtual ones
  • Based in Canada, Ontario preferred, with the ability to travel regularly within your territory
  • Strong experience managing pipeline and opportunities in Salesforce, and forecasting with precision
  • Confident and engaging in booking and delivering product demos to accounting and bookkeeping audiences
  • Experience closing high-velocity deals while managing multiple priorities
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
  • High level of accountability, curiosity, and adaptability
Nice to Have
  • Experience selling to or partnering with accounting or bookkeeping firms, or a background in the accounting/fintech ecosystem
  • Experience in a channel or partner sales motion, not only direct sales
  • Familiarity with AP/AR automation, payments, or SaaS for SMBs
  • An existing network within the Canadian accounting or bookkeeping community
