Our mission is to simplify Team Management and improve performance for restaurants, with a long-term vision of elevating what restaurant teams can achieve together.

As an Account Executive, Franchise, you will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle for existing franchisees of our mid-market and enterprise brands. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Mid-Market Accounts, you’ll lead outreach, discovery, demos, negotiation, and close, to drive adoption of our payroll solutions and deepen product usage within existing franchisees.

We’re building an inclusive work environment that is representative of the diverse industry we have the pleasure of serving and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.

What you’ll do:

  • Own expansion sales for 7shifts franchisees by driving adoption of our tip management and payroll solutions
  • Conduct outbound cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to source new opportunities within assigned franchise brands
  • Drive a high-velocity sales process from initial outreach through close with operators managing 1–10 units
  • Deliver tailored, high-impact demos that align with franchisee workflows and brand-level best practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Onboarding, Franchise AEs, and Account Management to ensure consistent brand messaging and strong franchisee adoption
  • Maintain detailed records of outreach and pipeline activity in Salesforce
  • Provide brand-level feedback on adoption trends, objections, and success stories to inform broader strategy

What you bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, quota-carrying tech sales role where you consistently demonstrated high performance and target attainment
  • Proven success in full-cycle payroll selling with SMB or mid-market clients
  • Familiarity with high outbound activity levels. You don’t wait for leads; you create them!
  • Excellent communication skills to quickly build trust with busy business owners
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment focused on clear revenue goals
  • Willingness to travel to industry events, including trade shows and customer conferences, to engage with customers and partners

It’d be even cooler if you had:

  • Experience working with franchised businesses or a strong understanding of franchisee/franchisor dynamics
  • Previous experience in the restaurant-tech industry
Our commitment to our team members:
  • Opportunity: It’s an exciting time to work at 7shifts—our product is evolving and our team is scaling quickly. Scale like this offers many unique learning opportunities in a short period of time, accelerating the professional growth of our team members

  • Culture: There’s a reason we’re one of the best workplaces in North America! We value integrity, adaptability and collaboration in an environment that moves quickly to drive incredible impact
  • Equity: Equity in a Series C, VC-backed SaaS company—enabling every team member to be an owner of their future success!
  • Health and Wellness: Competitive health benefits right from the start, lifestyle spending accounts, access to corporate discounts, and a parental leave program that supports caregivers during an important time in their lives
  • Flexibility: Our team is intentional around how and where we work—whether that’s remotely, in person at our Toronto and Saskatoon offices, or a mix of both. Plus, we offer a flexible vacation policy to encourage everyone to recharge when they need it. Oh, and a ‘90 Day Shift’ program that supports our team members in exploring the world
  • Support: We set our team members up for success with the latest Apple technology, a home office set up, and some fun 7shifts swag to make it official! Plus, we take professional growth seriously and support this through coaching, IDPs, peer and leader feedback, internal promotions, and more
