As part of this dynamic team, you'll have the freedom to explore new business opportunities independently and expand the digital revenue base.
What you will do:

  • Develop and execute prospecting strategies to uncover new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a personal book of digital business, complete with monthly and quarterly revenue goals
  • Works independently to retain and upsell newly developed business through consistent campaign performance management
  • Stays abreast of emerging trends in digital products, technology, measurement and analytics
  • Weekly reporting on account activity, pipeline and revenue around key categories
  • Work through objections/concerns regarding costs, budgets and selling strategies
  • Identify the current needs of client base; communicate the benefits of our audience based marketing solutions as they relate to each need and then sell the appropriate campaign
  • Gain an understanding of the company's digital products and as it relates to customers, prospects, and key trends
  • Ability to accurately develop forecasts and manage pipelines


What you will bring:

  • Please note that although this role is fully remote it does require residency in Estes Park or the surrounding area
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, systems, communications or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Position requires high level of professional communication ability
  • Must have ability to research problems and provide solutions
  • Have an understanding of how to grow and maintain market share
  • Demonstrated record of success in a goal-oriented, highly accountable environment; in building customer-based revenue and in delivering customer solutions based on identified needs
  • Ability to work effectively across departments as part of a team
  • Time management as it relates to focus on sales related activities
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Word and PowerPoint) spelling and grammar skills and including Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
  • Candidates must have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance


The hourly wage is $14.42. This position is eligible for incentive compensation (commission), cell phone, and mileage reimbursement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, MediaNews Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, and 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
