About the Position
We’re looking for a driven Account Executive to help build our sales team as we scale. This is a unique opportunity to own the end-to-end sales process, contribute to go-to-market strategy, and influence the future direction of Matia. You’ll work directly with the founders to shape the company’s approach to acquiring and delighting customers.
Responsibilities

Build the Pipeline: Identify, target, and engage potential customers in the data and engineering space, both from an outbound prospecting to managing inbound leads

Own the Sales Process: Lead full-cycle sales efforts, including discovery calls, demos, objection handling, negotiations, and closing

Collaborate with Product: Partner with the product team to relay customer feedback, identify feature requests, and shape Matia’s roadmap

Drive GTM Strategy: Work closely with leadership & Marketing to refine our messaging, pricing, and positioning in the market

Evangelize the Platform: Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, educating them on the value of Matia’s platform and how it solves their challenges

Be a Builder: Create and iterate on sales processes as we grow
What We're Looking For

Experience: 4+ years of sales experience in SaaS, with at least 2 in an Account Executive Role; demonstrated ability to exceed targets

Ownership Mentality: You thrive in ambiguous environments and are excited to build processes and structures from scratch. You are excited by the prospect of moving up quickly and scaling in an organization

Technical Fluency in Data Tools: At least 2+ years in a data tools company (e.g., ETL, reverse ETL, data observability, BI); you may have experience as an engineer or have a technical background and have pivoted into GTM

Strong Communicator: You can clearly articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

Results-Oriented: You’re motivated by hitting and exceeding targets, and you know how to close deals

Location
This is a fully remote position. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Metro Miami area.
