As an Account Manager II on our Business Development team, you will be training and working with newly onboarded Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs). You will be exceptional at selling Forward Financing’s value proposition and ensuring that our new ISOs know how to leverage and maximize their partnership with Forward Financing with the goal of driving profitable revenue for our organization. Our ISO partners connect us with the small businesses seeking working capital. To do this, you will learn the ins and outs of the small business financing sector, and what sets Forward Financing apart: reputation, transparency, speed, and most importantly, our people. 

The ideal candidate should possess a customer-focused mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships. They should be proactive, analytical, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment to achieve monthly sales goals.

In this role you will:

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of newly onboarded ISO partners, with the objective of increasing profitability. 

  • Develop a deep understanding of each ISO partner, their business model, objectives and motivators.

  • Analyze performance data to understand ISO partner trends, threats + opportunities.

  • Effectively communicate ISO performance data, achieve ISO partner buy in and identify growth opportunities. 

  • Establish and build relationships with ISO reps and decision makers to organically drive performance.

  • Work with your ISO partners to help them understand the value that Forward Financing can provide to their small business customers on a daily basis; focusing on providing speed + flexible access to capital when small businesses need it most.

  • Provide excellent customer service to your ISO partners; taking responsibility to resolve issues and build trust while creating a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, transactional sales environment.

  • Effectively collaborate with the underwriting team to drive profitable volume.

  • Demonstrated ability to confidently and effectively present ideas, solutions, and reports to ISO reps + Executives.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 2-3 years of experience in an account management or related role (relationship management, client management, sales).

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to successfully manage difficult conversations and objections.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
