Vous êtes un expert en comptabilité financière avec de l'expérience en gestion. Vous possédez une solide expérience en gestion de la performance et en coaching, ainsi qu’une grande capacité d’adaptation. Vous serez responsable de diriger tous les aspects des clôtures mensuelles, trimestrielles et annuelles pour un portefeuille important, avec une équipe de professionnels sous votre supervision. Vous participerez également à des projets et initiatives stimulants visant à améliorer continuellement les processus et les procédures.
Dans ce rôle, vous allez :
Veiller à ce que votre équipe exécute le processus de clôture de fin de mois de manière efficace et sans erreurs; l'efficacité de votre équipe sera optimale.
Avoir une équipe engagée et motivée.
Être un membre de confiance de l’équipe de gestion comptable, ainsi qu’une personne-ressource au sein du personnel.
Ce que vous apportez :
7 ans d'expérience en comptabilité financière, avec des rôles ayant évolué en responsabilités — une préférence sera accordée aux candidats ayant de l'expérience en immobilier commercial.
Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience en gestion d'une équipe de professionnels comptables (3 personnes ou plus).
De solides compétences en leadership et en mentorat.
Un esprit d’initiative et d’autonomie.
Un niveau avancé en Excel.
Une connaissance pratique du logiciel Yardi.
La maîtrise du français (parlé, lu et écrit) est impérative.
Compétences et expériences supplémentaires (atouts) :
Désignation CPA et baccalauréat en finance ou dans un domaine pertinent.
Connaissance des principes comptables généralement reconnus (GAAP) souhaitée.
Expérience au sein d’une entreprise publique considérée comme un atout.

About You
You are a financial accounting authority with management experience. You have strong performance management and coaching experience, and the ability to be adaptable. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of the month, quarterly and year end closes for a sizeable portfolio, and will have a team of professionals reporting to you. You will also take on exciting projects and initiatives to continuously improve processes and procedures.
In This Role You Will
Your team will be able to complete month end close process efficiently, and with no errors; your team’s efficiency will be optimal.
You will have an engaged and motivated team.
You will be a trusted member of the Accounting Management team, and a go to member of staff.
What you bring
7 years of experience in Financial Accounting in roles growing in responsibility - preference will be given to those with commercial real estate experience
3 years minimum experience managing a team of Accounting professionals of 3 or more
Strong leadership and mentor abilities
A self-starter who can take ownership and initiative
Advanced level of Excel skills
Working knowledge of using Yardi software
Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in French is imperative
Bonus skills and experience
CPA Designation and Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a relevant field
Knowledge of Generally Applied Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred
Experience at a Public company is an asset
