As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, ON location onsite.
In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will contribute to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality in our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will help us stay at the forefront of advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing assembly processes to build customer products.
- As a technical focal point for the Cell, lead Root Cause and Corrective Action analyses, implement improvements to eliminate defects, improve product quality and yield.
- Assist in resolving supplier technical issues arising from deviation requests, design ambiguities and manufacturability at Honeywell Aerospace facility.
- Lead products return related investigations, implement preventive measures, propose product design and manufacturing process improvements to eliminate escapes.
- Execute with support, capability of machines and process steps using Design of Experiments and statistical methods to ensure maximum utilization of critical resources, maximum throughput, minimum cost and capacity growth; involves integrating equipment, people, material flow, and information systems.
- Solve technical product, process, component, and related problems that affect the efficient operation and/or manufacture of products.
Provide feedback to product designers on suitability of designs for manufacturability with supervision.
The Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in an Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronics and Aerospace Engineering field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Electronics or Mechanical manufacturing industry.

- Previous experience in Project Management - Ability to manage a single line engineering project with a limited number of participants.

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 in Mississauga, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
