BlackRock’s Aladdin Business supports the investment process through the development, deployment and support of our enterprise investment management platform (Aladdin®), which is utilized by executives, portfolio management, risk management and operations teams.  The Aladdin Business provides strategic advisory and enterprise investment system services for our clients.  eFront® is our Private Markets suite of tools purpose built for teams investing in alternatives asset classes. Our diverse private markets client base is made up of external institutional asset managers, pensions, insurance companies, general partners, asset servicers and governments around the world.  Aladdin is the natural evolution of our long-standing investment in developing sophisticated and highly integrated analytics and systems for managing money.  

  

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vice President to lead a team of several private markets technical relationship managers to execute strategic projects as part of our Aladdin Client Engagement team.   This role is ideal for a seasoned client engagement professional who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and has a deep understanding of private market workflows, including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real assets.  You and your team will lead strategic engagements with clients, helping them derive maximum value from Aladdin’s private markets capabilities. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, analytics, and implementation teams to ensure delivery excellence and client satisfaction. 

Key responsibilities include:  

  • Serve as a senior leader for strategic initiatives for clients with private markets, driving engagement plans and delivery outcomes  

  • Act as a senior level business change consultant; maintains relationships with department heads and/or C-suite. 

  • Translate client objectives into actionable delivery plans, coordinating across internal teams to ensure timely execution. 

  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in Aladdin’s private markets capabilities, including eFront, private debt operating models, and valuation workflows. 

  • Partner with Aladdin Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities based on client feedback and market trends. 

  • Enable scale by helping team overcome blockers specific to product related opportunities. 

  • Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. 

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience in relationship management, consulting, or solution delivery within financial services or Fintech. 

  • Strong understanding of private markets, including fund structures, performance metrics, and operational workflows. 

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients 

  • Ambitious approach to large, complex projects, with a flair for problem solving 

  • Self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and works well as part of a multi-disciplinary global team 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • Experience working with enterprise technology platforms (Aladdin, eFront, or other private markets financial technology) is a plus. 

  • Experience working with private markets assets at a GP, asset servicer, or technology provider. 

  • Experience with SQL, UNIX or modern programming languages. 

For Toronto, Canada Only the salary range for this position is CAD$107,000.00 - CAD$142,000.00 which is the equivalent of CAD$51.44 - CAD$68.27 per hour. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
