Job Responsibilities:
The Analyst, Finance & Controlling plays a key role in supporting the Magna IT team in managing the business and improving the overall financial performance.
Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Financial Controlling processes of assigned IT functional and regional areas. This includes monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting, business planning, project accounting and capital expenditure tracking.
- Monthly financial result reviews with IT global service managers.
- Creation and analysis of the monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Creation of forecasts and budgets in close cooperation with the IT managers.
- Preparation of ad-hoc analyzes and presentations for management and functional departments.
- Participate in analyzing financial impact of various new initiatives and/or renewals of current supplier contracts.
- Participate in service pricing calculations as required.
- Other projects as assigned.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics
- CPA designation preferred
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience
Your preferred Qualifications
- Attentive to detail, with strong time management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Pronounced affinity for numbers and analytical way of thinking.
- Knowledge of international accounting (IFRS/US-GAAP) is an advantage.
- Proficient with MS Office suite of software with advanced excel skills; SAP (FI / CO) knowledge would be an asset
- Experience working in a global team would be beneficial
