ABOUT YOUR ROLE

We’re seeking an Analyst to partner with key stakeholders and peers to support and engage with our powerful networks of people, opportunities, and investments. Reporting to the Advisor, Portfolio Management (“PM”) – Infrastructure and Private Equity, the Analyst, PM is responsible for providing portfolio management and analytical support to the Private Equity and Infrastructure investment teams. Core competencies and responsibilities are focused on analytics and financial modeling, portfolio reporting and other value-added activities for portfolio management and insights.

As an Analyst, Portfolio Management – Infrastructure and Private Equity, you will:

  • Provide analytical support for portfolio management, including performance analysis, risk covenants, exposure analysis, among others

  • Support portfolio reporting including production of the Quarterly Portfolio Monitoring package and other management reports

  • Support data management activities including data collection/validation, monthly imports, investment creation in iLevel and liaise with the iLevel Managed Data Services team

  • Support background check renewals in collaboration with the Compliance team

  • Maintain financial models to assist in portfolio construction and value-added initiatives

  • Actively participate in any projects to generate portfolio insights and support asset class mandate

  • Act as back-up to the Senior Analysts

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field, an asset

  • CFA, CAIA, or other professional designation or enrollment in the program, an asset

  • A minimum of one (1) year of related working experience in finance and/or financial modeling

  • Familiar with alternative asset class concepts such as Private Equity/Infrastructure

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI (an asset), and iLevel (an asset)

  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy

  • Attention to detail and rigorous approach to research, analysis and documentation

  • Ability to work collaboratively, cultivating meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients

  • Drive to pursue excellence and Strong analytical skills

  • Capacity to adapt and show flexibility in changing priorities

  • Bilingualism: English and French, written and spoken *(Frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
