Job Summary

Job Description

  • Support specific products across a defined territory and providing technical support.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and apply appropriate pricing.
  • Provide technical support for internal and on site customers.
  • Support sales group in their efforts at strategic accounts.
  • Support sales through training, sales calls and product selection.
  • Takes sales responsibility for unassigned accounts.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with product line vendors.
  • Ensures seminars, training and product related events are executed.
  • Supports marketing efforts and sales goals as directed by product line manager.
  • Develops product knowledge and an understanding of the competitive market.
  • Keeps sales group informed on new and updated products.
  • Attends product training classes for products presented by respective manufacturer.
  • Participates in manufacturer events, such as distributor meetings, advisory councils, etc.,
  • Works with Customer Service Representatives to facilitate customer requirements.
  • Generates product sales goals in line with the company business plan.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Technical and analytical mindset

Additional Job Details

Responsible for troubleshooting the products deployed in the field by installing contractors. Deep understanding of electrical circuits and programable software functions. Manage escalation, provide accurate quotes, and engineer and draft modifications to resolve issues promptly. An ASE must be able to prioritize and manage multiple open issues. Follow best engineering practices and design standards. Requires proficiency in electronic circuit analysis and AutoCAD.

Salary $65k - $70k
