We’re looking for a driven Sales Professional to join Cars Commerce Canada and help drive revenue growth by acquiring, retaining, and expanding client relationships in your territory. In this role, you’ll actively prospect through in person networking, cold calling, present tailored digital dealership solutions, and conduct monthly performance reviews to identify upsell opportunities. You’ll train dealers on our ecosystem and KPIs, manage proposals, and collaborate with support teams to ensure smooth implementation. Success in this role means building strong client relationships and keeping CRM records up to date.

ABOUT THIS ROLE: 

  • Drive revenue growth and meet or exceed acquisition, retention and revenue targets.

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling & networking. 

  • Create acquisition opportunities by introducing Cars Commerce to prospects in your assigned territory, nurture prospects and facilitate the proposal process.

  • Master and train dealers on the digital car dealership ecosystem and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) that Cars Commerce Canada transparently produces to demonstrate and benchmark the value of its delivered products and services.

  • Conduct monthly performance reviews with customers, present identified opportunities and propose solutions to upsell products or services.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. 

  • Work with customer support personnel to implement digital solutions.

  • Update sales CRM every day, participate in a weekly session with the sales director and participate in product sessions.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations on services to potential clients.

  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and promote Cars Commerce services.

ABOUT YOU: key qualifications / “must-haves” here.

  • The ideal candidate will be located in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario

  • Proven sales experience in the automotive or digital solutions industry.

  • Proven retention and technical skills in supporting existing customers when required.

  • Strong understanding  of the automotive industry, digital solutions, digital leads management and digital advertising  trends.

  • Highly motivated and target driven, with a proven track record in sales.

  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to create and deliver presentations and performance reviews  tailored to the audience's needs.

  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback. A passion for the automotive industry and staying up-to-date with its trends and challenges.

  • At least 3-5+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the automotive industry or a digital agency.

  • Understanding of the automotive market, customer behavior, and the sales cycle.

  • Driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.

  • Familiarity with the latest digital trends and digital advertising strategies in the automotive sector.

  • Strong ability to develop and execute sales plans and strategies.

  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.

  • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations.

  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple accounts and assignments.

  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.

Preferred:  list of key qualifications that are “nice to haves” if applicable.

  • Ability to use CRM & Google suite 

  • Competence in using data analysis reports to spot automotive trends and optimize performance of dealerships

  • Understanding of website and digital advertising technology and capabilities

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

In this spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the compensation for this role. The range is expressed as total target compensation (base salary + variable). If you are hired at Cars Commerce, your total target compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills and/or experience. If the range is close to what you're seeking, then we encourage you to apply and learn more about the total compensation package and benefits for this position.

Total Target Compensation Range

$105,500.00-131,900.00
