Job Description:

We're seeking an Associate Product Designer ready to take ownership of feature-level design challenges while developing their strategic thinking. You'll work independently on defined problems, with the support and guidance needed to tackle increasingly complex challenges.
 

In the Growth area, you will focus on onboarding, notifications, and recommendations—features critical to driving user activation, retention, and engagement. Your work will play a key role in aligning user needs with Pluralsight’s strategic goals, ensuring learners experience a personalized and seamless journey.
 

A successful candidate will demonstrate solid execution skills and emerging product thinking capabilities. You'll balance hands-on design work with growing collaboration skills, contributing to both immediate product needs and longer-term improvements to our design practices.

What you’ll do:

  • Own feature design (40%): Create and validate solutions for specific product features

  • Conduct research (25%): Plan and execute research activities with guidance

  • Drive collaboration (25%): Work with engineers and product managers

  • Improve practices (10%): Contribute to our design system and processes

Experience you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years of product design experience

  • Portfolio showing end-to-end design process

  • Experience with modern design tools including Figma

  • Ability to articulate design decisions

  • Experience with design systems

Requirements:

  • Experience with systems-level thinking

  • User research experience

  • Experience with Lean UX, JTBD, hypothesis-driven design and/or Product-led Growth

Travel Requirements:

While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Sedentary work. Repetitive work. Ability to perform tasks related to documentation, data analysis, transcription and extensive content analysis. Learn new tasks, remember processes, complete tasks independently, and make timely decisions in the context of a workflow.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $91,400 - $112,800 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
