Job Description

We are looking for a Product Marketing Engineer to Join our team to drive the timing business in industrial and mass market segments in the EU region. You will have the opportunity to be involved with demand creation and tactical product marketing functions for mass market and industrial segments in the EU region. You will also be responsible for looking at gaps in our portfolio to address the application needs and help to drive the roadmap of our next generation products. This will be done in close collaboration with the rest of the marketing team as well as the system architects and application engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth for the industrial mass market segments in the EU region: target to grow revenue faster than the market.
  • Grow the customer DIN opportunity funnel and drive majority of pending opportunities to successful DIN.
  • Drive planning and manufacturing ops to exceed expectations by customers on their NPI volume ramps.
  • Build strong relationships with keys customers and closely interact with them to resolve system issues.
  • Become the timing subject matter expert and be accountable for business development and product adoption at customers. 
  • Create thought leadership technical literature such as articles, author blogs on the Web and other technical promotional materials to position Renesas as the market leader for timing solutions.
  • Provide ongoing training/enablement material to the field (Sales/FAE and Distribution channel).

Qualifications

  • Education: BSEE or equivalent required
  • Good understanding of Analog products strongly preferred.
  • Team player, organized, disciplined, persistent, motivated and coachable. 
  • Excellent skills in customer interaction and negotiation.
  • Takes ownership & has high level of integrity.
  • Eligible to work in Canada 
  • Candidate needs to be in Ottawa.
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time.
