Under direct supervision, the Associate Quality Assurance Analyst carries out established procedures to ensure programs/projects meet minimum company standards and end user requirements. The incumbent assists with quality assurance testing on basic applications to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. As the entry level in the Quality Assurance job stream, this role is competent to work on aspects of quality assurance testing, but requires instruction and guidance in some areas.


How you will create impact:
  • Provide input to the development of system test plans and user acceptance test plans.

  • Assist with system testing according to plan.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of test case documentation.

  • Document all problems and work with developers and analysts to resolve them.

  • Participate in walk-throughs of testing documentation.

  • Participate in verifications of implementations.

  • Participate in work-flow analysis of testing procedures

To join our team:
  • You have a degree or diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have the ability to understand business processes and their translation to systems applications.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in Digital QA.
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
  • Having experience developing test documentation is an asset. 
  • Proficiency in both English and French is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority anglophone and francophone clients, groups, and teams. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

What you need to know:
  • Rotational on-call schedule may be required, with shifts during evenings and weekends. 

  • Extended work hours, including weekends, may be required during peak periods.

  • You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.

Expected salary range $50,280 to $83,800

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
