The Associate Sales Process Specialist engages with customers, coordinates sales processes, and provides administrative support while ensuring compliance with certification requirements.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Engage with customers via telephone or electronic inquiries to address inquiries and admin-related activities
- Coordinate pre- and post-sale actions to ensure customers are meeting Testing Inspection & Certification (TIC) certification requirements and product or service adoption timelines
- Work within standard operating procedures under supervision to develop and share quotes using standardized pricing tools
- Perform client follow-up and aid in turning quotes into orders. Process quotes into Orders using ERP system
- Support Account Managers, Sales Executives and Inside Sales Executives by performing included but not limited to admin-related tasks
- Apply experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise
- Connect customer to appropriate UL personnel (Account Manager, Sales Executives and Inside Sales Executives, delivery teams and engineers, etc.) when necessary
- Track account history and supply data from internal sources as requested by account owners and representatives to facilitate deeper knowledge of account and account opportunities
- Collaborate with internal resources to resolve customer inquiries and ensure that the customer receives the proper message to ensure complete understanding and results requested
- Based on the relationship and deep understanding of the customer and needs, provide input to account manager, Sales Executive or Inside Sales Executive to inform sales strategy where applicable
- Build an internal UL problem-solving network and proactively engage internal personnel to anticipate problems, improve delivery, and develop solutions that improve ULS' customer experience
- Meet established timelines for pre-and post-sales activities.
- Works with a moderate degree of supervision
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software
- 2 years of related experience
- Business acumen and a sufficient understanding of business sales processes
- Sufficient understanding of core UL products / services for aligned industry to effectively generate quotes.
- Experience managing internal systems and data sources
- Strong communication and administrative skills
- English proficiency preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and work under fast pace environment
