THE TEAM

The mission of the Technical Design Department is to translate conceptual designs into actionable blueprints.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Technical Design Department team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for translating the creative vision into actional blueprints for product development. As the Associate, Technical Design, you will support with partnering with the Product Creative team on product development to ensure the successful development of design details to enable the manufacturing of our beautiful collections. THE ROLE

As the Associate, Technical Design, you will:

  • Identify upcoming trends in style details
  • Support the design of the style details for the line
  • Create actionable blueprints to ensure that the style executes on the brand vision
  • Ensure that each style executes on the brand vision

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Associate, Technical Design, has:

  • Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in garment construction and technical illustration, in addition to the appetite to continuously learn and develop oneself
  • An understanding of Aritzia’s brand vision and style fundamentals with a focus on trends and cultural influences

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $28–$36 CAD per hour. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
