Key Responsibilities
  • Provides IT systems support, maintenance, monitoring, and software/equipment updates always to maintain optimal system performance and uptime.
  • Assists the IT Officer to ensure security updates and anti-virus programs are kept current on Company-provided hardware and that appropriate user access and restrictions are maintained.
  • Effectively assists in monitoring daily backup processes to ensure integrity and aids with restores as necessary.
  • Accurately updates current inventory documentation of IT equipment on board as necessary, and ensures sufficient working spares are in stock.
  • Effectively assists the IT Officer in shipping and receiving company IT hardware per IT guidelines for proper tracking.
  • Assists in ensuring Company IT equipment is deployed as directed or securely stored and maintained in working order.
  • Regularly performs maintenance on IT equipment and Data Center equipment racks on time, and makes necessary repairs to equipment as directed by the IT Officer.
  • Always provides IT systems support per Service Level Agreement expectations and escalates to the IT Officer as necessary.
  • Always responds to support requests promptly, prioritizing requests as directed by the IT Officer.
  • Provides assistance and training for IT systems as needed.
  • All duties must be completed following the company Core Values and all aspects of the Service Essentials program.


Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role supporting a user network.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Solid technical writing skills to effectively communicate with second-level support and document systems as needed.
