We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Integration Engineer to develop and optimize integrations across SaaS platforms and data services. This role will focus heavily on AWS Serverless technologies and API-driven integrations, working closely with AWS Integration Architects, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services, API development, and building scalable, serverless integrations.

What You’ll Do:

Integration Development & API Engineering

  • Design and implement serverless integration solutions using AWS services such as AWS AppFlow, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, and Event Bridge

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations for seamless data exchange across enterprise applications

  • Leverage AWS SDKs, APIs, and connectors to integrate with third-party SaaS platforms

Solution Design & Implementation

  • Work with AWS Integration Architects to define integration patterns, data flows, and security best practices.

  • Implement event-driven architectures using AWS services to enable real-time data synchronization.

  • Optimize integration solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency using AWS best practices

Testing, Debugging & Optimization

  • Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure reliability and performance

  • Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions

  • Monitor and log API transactions using AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other observability tools

Documentation & Collaboration

  • Document integration designs, API specifications, and implementation details

  • Work collaboratively with development teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders

  • Share best practices and provide technical guidance to junior engineers when needed

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud development and integration engineering

  • Minimum BS degree, CS, CE, SW, MIS or equivalent degree, or has relevant work experience

  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js for developing AWS Lambda functions and APIs

  • Strong expertise in AWS serverless services: Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, Event Bridge

  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices.

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on optimizing integration performance
