The Role

We are looking for an experienced Backend Rust Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and secure trading software systems.

You will bring 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience, with strong expertise in Rust and systems programming. You’ll work on performance-critical technology where concurrency, networking, reliability, and low latency are key considerations.

This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to complex engineering challenges within financial services, while building clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable software.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and secure software systems using Rust.
  • Develop and optimize performance-critical, low-latency applications supporting demanding trading environments.
  • Apply systems programming principles across distributed systems, concurrency, and networking to build robust solutions.
  • Diagnose complex technical and performance issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective optimizations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver maintainable technology solutions aligned with trading and financial-services requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience, with strong experience in Rust and systems programming.
  • Experience designing and developing performance-critical and low-latency applications.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and networking.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing software systems.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is listed below. Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.

The base pay offered to selected candidates will be within the salary range and the placement will vary based upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity.
