We are seeking a creative Bilingual Senior Specialist, Strategic Talent Acquisition Brand to elevate our employer brand and attract top talent. This role sits at the intersection of recruitment, marketing, and storytelling—focusing on shaping how candidates perceive CBC/Radio Canada and ensuring a compelling and consistent candidate experience. You will be responsible for developing and executing our employer brand strategy. You will be crucial in defining our employee value proposition and connecting with Indigenous, diverse, and emerging talent.

In this role, you will have an opportunity to shape how talent connects with a mission-driven organization and work at the intersection of people, culture and brand. This role is ideal for someone who possesses a deep understanding of what attracts and motivates different talent segments and is committed to inclusive, accessible and authentic representation. This is a 12-month temporary position with the possibility of extension and could be based in Ottawa, Toronto or Montreal.

Key Responsibilities:

Employer brand strategy

  • Develop and execute employer branding strategies to attract high-quality candidates across key talent segments

  • Define and refine the Employee Value Proposition using data, research and employee insights

  • Manage and evolve CBC/Radio Canada’s brand guidelines to ensure diversity and reconciliation commitments; consistency in voice, tone, and visual identity across all Employer Branding platforms and materials.

Content and storytelling

  • Collaborate with internal partners (hiring managers, communications, subject matter experts and recruiting teams) to identify needs and competitive advantages

  • Partner with Marketing to align messaging with overall brand identity

  • Develop compelling content such as social media posts, videos, blogs, and employee stories to cultivate community, increase influence, and effectively promote the company's culture and values.

Campaigns and talent attraction

  • Manage and optimize’s presence on employer review sites (e.g., Glassdoor, LinkedIn).

  • Design recruitment marketing campaigns, including job ads, email campaigns, and careers page content.

  • Develop, implement, and manage our TA social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook and TikTok

Insights and measurement

  • Establish Key Performance Indicators and analyze campaign performance and candidate engagement metrics; provide insights and recommendations

  • Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience across all touchpoints 

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor employer branding strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field

  • 5 years of experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, or digital marketing

  • Must be fluent in English and French (both spoken and written).

  • Strong content creation and storytelling skills

  • Excellent knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices and analytics tools.

  • Solid understanding of SEO (Search Engine optimization), keyword research, and web traffic metrics.

  • Experience in content creation, including writing, graphic design (proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus), and video production.

  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.

  • A creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools

  • Understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives in recruiting

  • enhancing candidate experience metrics. 

The Senior Specialist, Talent Acquisition Brand leverages data, storytelling, and strategic partnerships to deliver measurable impact and ensure alignment with organizational values, workforce priorities, and talent acquisition objectives.
