Lead Opavia brand strategy for Czech and Slovak markets: develop long-term brand plans, run TV/digital/in-store campaigns, manage packaging, innovation and portfolio, monitor performance and insights, own budget, and coach a Junior Brand Manager while collaborating across functions and agencies.
Job Description
Join us and shape the future of Opavia - one of the most iconic and beloved brands in the Czech and Slovak markets.
What if you could take ownership of a brand that millions of people already know and love - and have the freedom to shape where it goes next?
We are looking for an experienced marketer to lead the Opavia brand agenda across the Czech and Slovak markets. This is a broad, high-impact role with end-to-end ownership across brand strategy, communication, portfolio, innovation, packaging, budget and business performance.
Unlike many global brand roles, this position gives you the opportunity to shape the local strategy rather than simply execute a global one. You will turn consumer and market insights into growth opportunities, define priorities for the brand and bring them to life through impactful campaigns, innovations and commercial initiatives.
You will also lead and develop a Junior Brand Manager and work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams across the business and the wider Mondelēz organization.
What you'll be responsible for
Own and drive the long-term brand strategy for Opavia across the Czech and Slovak markets, translating the global vision into a compelling local growth agenda.
Identify and lead strategic growth opportunities based on consumer insights, market trends, business performance and competitive intelligence.
Develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies and campaigns across TV, digital, in-store and other relevant touchpoints.
Lead the development of creative campaigns, communication platforms and packaging, partnering with external agencies and internal stakeholders.
Drive portfolio development and local innovation, from identifying opportunities through to successful market launch.
Own the brand P&L-related marketing agenda and budget, ensuring effective prioritization and return on investment.
Monitor brand and business performance and turn data and insights into clear recommendations and actions.
Build strong relationships with Sales, Commercial, Finance, R&D, Insights, Supply Chain and other cross-functional teams to turn brand strategy into business results.
Partner with regional and global teams, while ensuring the Opavia strategy remains relevant and impactful for Czech and Slovak consumers.
Build compelling brand stories and support Commercial and Sales teams in bringing the brand to customers.
Lead, coach and develop a Junior Brand Manager, supporting their growth and taking ownership of their performance and development.
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone who is ready to take ownership of a major brand and shape its future.
What we offer
In return for your commitment, drive and enthusiasm, we offer a wide range of benefits, such as:
We believe that diversity is the foundation of great results, just like with our cookies. That's why we create an open working environment where everyone can feel like themselves, and we welcome anyone who wants to work with us.
