The Role
Cash App Investing enables individuals to instantly buy stock in your favorite companies with as little as $1 using our free fractional trading feature! We're looking for Brokerage Operations Trading Specialist to join our broker-dealer subsidiary, Cash App Investing LLC. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has deep experience in brokerage operations with an emphasis in trade related functions.
You Will

  • Lead and support key Trading Operations functions such as Best Execution, Consolidated Audit Trail Reporting, Corporate Actions, and Net Settlement Reconciliation.
  • Assess risk and process trade error corrections involving multiple retail client accounts and securities.
  • Manage broker-dealer error account liquidations and books and record keeping.
  • Investigate daily position breaks and remediate those breaks in coordination with the clearing firm.
  • Support the Front and Back Office by conducting trade related research as needed.
  • Manage remediation for trading related issues.
  • Assist in fulfilling Trading related Compliance requests.
  • Create and maintain documents including but not limited to policies, standards, and operating procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with key requirements under relevant regulations (e.g., SEC/FINRA).
  • Understanding of clearing broker-dealer execution and routing practices for equity and ETF securities.
  • Complete daily brokerage operations tasks in line with firm written supervisory procedures and operational processes.
  • Identify areas of improvement and collaborate with engineering, support, and product teams to facilitate improvements and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with lead, peers, and cross functional teams to identify areas of opportunity and risks.


You Have

  • 4+ years of financial services experience, with hands-on knowledge in key brokerage operations functions such as Trading, Settlements, and Corporate Actions.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms (preferred).
  • Strong understanding and adherence to SEC/FINRA regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Collaborative mindset: a team player who proactively supports colleagues and contributes to shared goals.
  • Adaptability in navigating highly cross functional, collaborative and/or ambiguous environments.
  • Clear and effective communication: excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Genuine passion for economic empowerment and serving underserved communities.
