The Role:
As a Business Analyst on the Project Management Team, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders from operations, credit, finance, and IT to gather requirements, analyze current processes, support system implementations, and drive continuous improvement in factoring workflows.

You’ll contribute to projects that enhance our funding systems, improve client onboarding, optimize reporting tools, and enable scalable growth.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project goals, scope, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
  • Map current factoring processes (e.g., onboarding, verification, collections) and identify pain points or inefficiencies.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams and system vendors.
  • Support implementation of new platforms or system enhancements (e.g phone systems, CRM, dashboards).
  • Perform data analysis to support decision-making on project priorities, risk assessment, and ROI.
  • Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), documentation, and training related to new processes or systems.
  • Monitor project performance against milestones and escalate risks or blockers as needed.
  • Help define and track KPIs for operational performance, client experience, and project impact.
  • Participate in post-project reviews to assess outcomes and recommend follow-up actions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services, factoring, or lending environments.
  • 2+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience.
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights and make business recommendations.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of the factoring industry, including receivables management, client invoicing workflows, and debtor payment behaviors.
  • Understanding of credit risk assessment, including financial statement analysis and exposure to underwriting or credit scoring models.
  • Proficiency in documenting workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvements using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
