About The Role 

Chainlink Labs is seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Executive to spearhead the company's efforts in the East Coast. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating and closing high-impact use cases where Chainlink's cutting-edge solutions can be utilised. Your core focus will be targeting major commercial banks and financial market infrastructures. We are especially interested in opportunities within the Front and Middle office, such as Treasury, Fixed Income and Collateral. 

Your Impact

  • Identify high-value TradFi use cases where Chainlink's core solutions can provide value 

  • Collaborate with Chainlink Labs product managers, solutions architects and implementation engineers to integrate Chainlink solutions into Financial market infrastructures & commercial banks systems and workflows

  • Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing models to incentivise TradFi adoption of Chainlink's products and services

  • Develop onboarding and support programs to educate and enable clients on Chainlink Labs product capabilities

  • Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target institutions to understand clients needs and position Chainlink as a strategic partner

  • Work cross-functionally to create compelling thought leadership, use cases, and go-to-market strategies 

Requirements

  •  10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the financial services industry, 

  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing commercial agreements with major financial institutions (Including Commercial Banks and FMI’s) 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and operations, to address client needs and drive successful implementations

  • Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously

  • Strong understanding of asset tokenization, blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), and the evolving digital financial market infrastructure landscape

  • Based in New York or within commutable distance

Preferred Requirements

  • Strong experience selling to front and middle office functions, with exposure across Collateral, Treasury, and/ or Fixed income
