What You'll Bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably business related, or equivalent experience. Previous experience in banking, alternative lending, retail credit or consumer credit reporting industries is considered an asset.
  • Requires 5+ years of experience in direct outside sales; communicating with all levels of the buying organization.
  • Must possess the ability to successfully interact with front-line and upper management to identify business needs, present solutions and resolve problems.
  • Ability to effectively create and execute a sales plan to gain market share and increase market penetration.
  • The enthusiasm to successfully navigate a matrixed environment; facilitating teamwork with various internal stakeholders to best serve our customers' interests.
  • Availability for purposeful travel.

Impact You'll Make:

TransUnion Canada is seeking a Business Development Executive with exceptional sales and customer facing expertise.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage potential and existing large key accounts and direct sales to all viable large complex customers.
2. Plan and implement sales strategies to specific accounts/sales channels cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities and new business development.
3. Subject matter expert to negotiate with customers in real time.
4. Direct face-to-face contact with key decision makers partnering with customers to understand their needs and leverage our products to improve their business.

The expected pay range for this position is $89,000 - $134,000 annually. The pay information provided for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of expected compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of many factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. In addition, variable compensation is based on applicable company guidance and plan documents as well as performance.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
