Are you a driven, relationship-focused mortgage professional looking to build your own practice with built-in market access and exclusive account rights?

We're hiring Business Development managers across the country with a focus on British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario to join our Financial Advisor Channel — a high-growth division focused on helping wealth professionals serve their clients with smarter mortgage solutions.

About the Opportunity

We’re expanding our Financial Advisor (FA) Channel — a high-growth division dedicated to helping wealth professionals deliver smarter mortgage solutions to their clients.

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you’ll be responsible for onboarding, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisors within our partner firms. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive advisor engagement and generate a steady, high-quality flow of mortgage referrals.

We’re looking for someone with grit, hustle, and strong relationship instincts — a professional who thrives in the field, builds trust fast, and turns relationships into pipelines.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and develop a regional territory with exclusive access to assigned partner accounts.
  • Act as the face of nesto for financial advisors within your territory — educating them on how to identify mortgage opportunities and refer clients confidently.
  • Conduct field visits, workshops, and events to activate and grow advisor participation.
  • Build long-term relationships and become a trusted partner to FAs — ensuring they feel supported and see tangible value from working with nesto.
  • Collaborate closely with internal mortgage advisors and marketing teams to ensure seamless referral experiences and maximize conversion.
  • Analyze performance metrics, identify opportunities for growth, and continuously refine your engagement strategies.
  • Champion the voice of the advisor within nesto — bringing feedback, insights, and ideas to improve our offering and relationships.
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales — ideally within financial services or wealth management.
  • Proven success in relationship-driven growth roles (bonus if you’ve worked with financial advisors or in a B2B2C model).
  • A self-starter with grit, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills — comfortable leading meetings, training sessions, and events.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong accountability and ownership.
  • Experience managing a defined territory and maintaining an active field presence.
  • Mortgage licensed is a strong asset, but not required
What You Get
  • Exclusive access to a defined territory and book of partner accounts
  • The ability to build something from the ground up in a rapidly expanding channel.
  • Full marketing, technology, and operational support from nesto’s central team.
  • Competitive base salary + uncaped commissions.
  • Premium benefits package, including full health coverage, telemedicine, and mental health support from day one.
  • Flexibility to work hybrid, with regular field presence required in your territory.

Locations

We're hiring in the following markets:

  • British Columbia, preference for Vancouver
  • Alberta, preference for Calgary or Edmonton
  • Ontario, preference for Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

What we offer

  • Contribute directly to shaping the experience that modernizes the Canadian mortgage industry.
  • Benefit from nesto's employee mortgage program, offering exclusive access to the best and lowest rates.
  • Benefit from a generous time-off policy including 4 weeks vacation per year
  • Enjoy a premium benefits plan fully paid by nesto, including a top-class insurance plan and unlimited access to telemedicine and mental health service, for you and your family from day 1.
  • Access to an annual health and wellness budget.
  • Take your work internationally with our temporary international work program.

Diversity & Inclusion

At nesto, we believe that creativity and collaboration are the result of a diverse team. We are committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and we strongly encourage women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and individuals with disabilities to apply. We are committed to creating a workplace that is inclusive and welcoming to all.
