- Opportunity Identification: Research and identify new business opportunities, including potential clients, markets, and partnerships. Generate leads and build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including prospective and existing clients. Understand their business needs and challenges to propose effective solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and business goals. Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with potential clients and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Close deals effectively and manage the transition of new clients to the implementation phase.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging opportunities. Use insights to inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions. Prepare and present regular reports on progress, pipeline status, and performance metrics to management.
- High School diploma required, bachelors degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience selling payment processing in a self-prospecting new business development sales role
