About the Role:
As a Business Development Representative (internally called Associate Partnership Director) at Mentor Collective, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying and qualifying potential clients. You'll be responsible for generating leads, initiating contact with prospects, and nurturing relationships to create opportunities for our mentorship solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of organizations and make a positive impact on internship and corporate mentoring outcomes.
This position reports to Team Lead, Business Development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential clients within the corporate sector to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Outreach: Initiate contact with key decision-makers through various channels, including emails, calls, and social media, to introduce Mentor Collective's solutions.
- Qualification: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand prospective clients' challenges and goals, qualifying them for potential collaboration.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, positioning Mentor Collective as a valuable partner in achieving their mentoring program objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- U.S. work authorization required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Goal-oriented with a drive to exceed targets.
- B2B experience
- Familiarity with the education sector is a plus.
- Experience working in a startup environment and navigating ambiguity
- Prior full-time remote experience

Compensation: $53,000 - $56,000 per year, based on experience. (This range outlines the base salary. This position will also be eligible for variable compensation based on performance.) This is a Full-Time, Exempt position.
