Position Summary:

We are seeking driven, results-oriented and consultative Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to join our rapidly expanding demand sales team. As a BDR at Wander, you will be on the front lines of our growth strategy, proactively engaging with potential travelers to secure bookings across our expanding portfolio of luxury vacation properties. This role is ideal for ambitious professionals who excel in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for exceptional travel experiences, and are motivated to help guests discover the perfect Wander destination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively reach out to potential travelers and guests to drive bookings across our portfolio of luxury properties

  • Identify and engage with high-value travelers through thoughtful, personalized outreach campaigns

  • Conduct consultative conversations to understand travelers' needs and match them with ideal Wander experiences

  • Meet or exceed monthly booking targets and GMV contribution goals

  • Educate prospects on Wander's unique value proposition and differentiators in the luxury travel market

  • Follow up with leads from various marketing channels to maximize conversion rates

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Concierge teams to refine targeting and enhance the guest journey

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and prospect interactions in our CRM system

  • Stay current on property features, destination highlights, and seasonal promotions to effectively recommend experiences

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of conversion strategies

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of client-centered sales experience preferred. Extra credit if this experience is in hospitality, travel, luxury retail, or related customer-focused industries

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets/expectations

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over phone and email

  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to match customer needs with compelling solutions

  • Passion for travel and personal experience with luxury hospitality

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals

  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experience

  • Knowledge of travel destinations and trends a plus

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
