The Role

As a Business Development Representative in the Public Safety Technology space, you will work in close alignment with our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be pursue identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through strategic outreach. You will develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and lead generation 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, providing excellent customer service and support 
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to contract negotiation and implementation 
  • Provide regular reports on sales activity and progress toward goals. 

What You'll Bring

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Knowledge of CRM software and sales processes 
  • Two years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing 
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs 
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences and events as needed 
  • Experience in the Public Safety industry is a plus
