  • Generate Pipeline – Build and maintain a steady flow of qualified opportunities to help the sales team hit revenue goals.
  • Follow-Up & Nurture – Stay in touch with prospects who are not yet ready to buy, keeping them engaged until the timing is right.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing – Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing on outreach strategies, campaigns, and account planning.
  • Handle Inbound Leads – Triage and qualify inbound interest from webinars, events, or campaigns to convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Stay Market-Savvy – Keep up to date on the credit union and community bank market to identify trends, opportunities, and cross-sell potential.
  • Maintain CRM Discipline – Log all outreach, conversations, and meetings in Salesforce to ensure visibility and accuracy across the team.
  • Be an Eltropy Ambassador – Share our story, represent our values, and deliver a great first impression to every prospect.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1–5 years as a Business Development Representative at a B2B software or technology company.
  • Outbound Expertise: Proven success with cold outreach, including emails, calls, and LinkedIn prospecting.
  • Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with the credit union landscape or prior experience selling to financial institutions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; able to simplify complex ideas and build rapport quickly.
  • Drive: Self-motivated, resilient, and eager to learn. Comfortable with rejection and quick to bounce back.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment with a team of remote Account Executives.
  • Tech Savvy: Knowledge of Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or Outreach is a plus (training provided if needed).
  • Work Style: Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tools Experience: Exposure to Salesforce (required), FinNav, Gong, and ZoomInfo preferred.
