Who are we looking for?

Our Waterloo office is looking for a Business Development Representative

Working directly with the sales team and be expected to have a critical impact on the organization and revenue by contacting assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell company products within a designated geography or industry. Focus on meeting personal sales targets, developing new business, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems. Have solid knowledge of products, their characteristics, and the market. Typically requires excellent interpersonal skills and sales experience.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: 

  • Creating sales pipeline using demand generation and prospecting tools
  • Generating business opportunities through professional networking and cold outreach
  • Finding new opportunities and creating strong relationships with target accounts
  • Exploring and identifying new opportunities in new accounts and/or buying centers
  • Researching and presenting business intelligence about customers and prospects
  • Identifying influencers and key decision-makers within accounts

What you will bring to the Team:

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a sales or sales development role
  • Bonus: Experience within the Government, Education or Healthcare space or within a B2B technology company

  • The salary range for this position is 67,000 to 90,000.  The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for GHD locations in its major city centres. Ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At GHD, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
