Kindsight builds technology that helps fundraisers make a difference. For decades, Kindsight has supported the education, healthcare, and nonprofit sectors with fundraising tools and the largest charitable giving database on the market. And as the giving sector evolves, so does Kindsight. As the leader in fundraising intelligence, Kindsight leverages real-time data and AI to help thousands of organizations around the world identify, manage, and engage with donors - at any scale. With purpose-built CRMs that corral all of that donor information and campaign tracking into one place, donor prospect research tools that offer proactive insights and real-time donor intel, and generative AI that creates personalized, meaningful content drafts at scale, Kindsight’s product suite is truly changing the game for donor fundraising

Position Summary:

Do you love to smash your goals? Kindsight is seeking self-motivated team members with sales in their DNA!

The Outbound BDR will support our Account Executives (AE) in developing our sales pipeline. Activities include generating outbound leads using phone, email, and LinkedIn, supporting sales efforts and campaigns, and maintaining our CRM and other related tasks. You will learn to identify the specific needs of prospects and how Kindsight’s products/solutions meet those needs.

What you’ll do:

  • Hunt outbound leads using signals and targeted lists to build a high-quality pipeline.
  • Own your activity targets with a heavy focus on high-volume cold calling and creative outreach.
  • Utilize a pro-level tech-stack: Gong, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and Nooks.
  • Collaborate with your remote team in the Nooks sales floor, giving you access to in-moment coaching and kudos, and celebrate with your team in real time.
  • Qualify prospects and ensure a seamless hand-off to AEs for live demonstrations.
  • Participate in sales strategy meetings and contribute to a winning team culture.

What we’re looking for:

  • Phone-First DNA: You love the "art of the call" and have a background in high-volume cold calling or high-stakes sales.
  • Competitive & Driven: You are self-motivated, thrive on targets, and hate to lose.
  • Coachability: You’re a student of the game who takes feedback and applies it to the next play.
  • Resilient: You view a "No" as a challenge, not a dead end.
  • Team Player: Positive energy, collaborative spirit, and the discipline to thrive in a remote-first environment.

Your Training Camp & Beyond:

  • The Playbook: A structured onboarding and enablement program designed to get you "game-ready."
  • Scouting Reports: Learn the industry, master our customer personas, and understand exactly why we do what we do
  • The Gear: Master the tools of the trade (Gong, Salesforce,  ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator and Nooks)
  • Team Integration: Join a dynamic squad where you’ll collaborate daily with fellow BDRs and key leaders.
  • Game-Tape Review: Level up through 1:1 coaching, role-playing, and real-time feedback to ensure you’re always improving your "stats" and sales skills.

Compensation Range: $35,000 CAD Base + $26,600 CAD Variable Commission (OTE $61,600 CAD) annually, based on experience, market benchmarks, and role complexity. We aim to offer fair, competitive pay that reflects your skills and the market.

This advertised position is for an existing vacancy at Kindsight. At Kindsight, we’re proud to be a place where everyone belongs and has an equal opportunity to contribute, thrive, and grow. We welcome all individuals and do not discriminate based on gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, colour, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, marital status, pregnancy, sex, citizenship, education, languages spoken, or veteran status. We’re building a workplace where everyone has the opportunity to do meaningful work and make a difference.

We leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support certain aspects of our recruitment process. These tools may help with resume screening, drafting job descriptions, creating interview questions, and occasionally identifying potential candidates. All hiring decisions are made by our people, not AI. We intend to use AI thoughtfully to streamline administrative tasks, improve the candidate experience, and support fair, unbiased hiring practices consistent with industry standards.
