This is a hybrid role in Ottawa, Ontario.

Position Summary

The successful Business Process Automation Specialist (New Grad) candidate will implement, integrate, and troubleshoot/test Business Process Automation (BPA) flows/processes including web service invocations, embedded scripts, and user interactions. The successful candidate will support a Senior BPA Specialist in end user and other stakeholder consultations to help define and refine the applicable Business Processes.

Key Areas of Responsibility 

The successful candidate will:
•    Implement, integrate, and troubleshoot/test Business Process Automation (BPA) flows/processes including web service invocations, embedded scripts, and user interactions; and
•    Automate Business Processes, participating in engagements with relevant stakeholders.
•    To provide products and customer solutions in consistency with all stakeholders’ needs and entity policies, as well as continuously enhance engineering competitiveness.

Minimum Qualifications
 

•    Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent education with relevant experience
•    Software Development experience in the development of Web services, including the use of Javascript for web application development

The candidate should possess experience with a few of the following skills:

•    Experience implementing GUIs
•    Exposure to or knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
•    Experience working in a scrum/agile software development environment
Special Position Requirements

•    Hybrid position. Full time, standard business hours. 
•    Possibility of occasional travel to customer site for technical support / integration activities.
•    Possibility of occasional travel within Canada for planning events.
