Your Opportunity at Arc’teryx:

As a Business Systems Analyst, you act as a conduit between technology teams and multiple business teams. You support configuration and integration initiatives by eliciting and analyzing requirements, facilitating communication between technical and business stakeholders, and documenting business processes, systems, and integrations.

You are comfortable absorbing new and diverse information, adapting existing knowledge, and working in a changing, evolving environment to support successful delivery using an agile scrum methodology. You are a critical thinker who enjoys diving into the details and understanding the “how” and “why,” while balancing the need for working software over exhaustive documentation.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:

You will join the Sustainability Technology team, a collaborative group that partners closely with Circularity, Sustainability, and Product Compliance teams. Together, you deliver systems that enhance product transparency, traceability, and regulatory readiness across the Arc’teryx product lifecycle.

If you were the Business Systems Analyst now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

    • Gathering requirements and translating business needs into actionable specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
    • Creating visual artifacts, process flows, and system documentation to support analysis, design, and quality assurance
    • Identifying and recommending business process improvements
    • Serving as a subject matter expert for the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and related platforms, including configuration, data requirements, and roadmap planning
    • Collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to validate product data, support enhancements, coordinate upgrades, and maintain platform performance
    • Supporting integrations between DPP, PLM, ERP, and other internal and external systems
    • Validating data quality and end-to-end data flows to ensure regulatory compliance and record completeness
    • Executing testing and supporting troubleshooting, issue resolution, and vendor escalation
    • Creating documentation and supporting change management through training, demos, release notes, and onboarding resources

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

    • Identifying and documenting opportunities for process and system improvements
    • Supporting stakeholder alignment across cross‑functional teams
    • Partnering with Product and Program Leads to provide insights that inform prioritization, incremental improvements, and future‑state planning
    • Building domain expertise in sustainability technology and supply chain systems within the Business Analyst community and agile squads
    • Assisting the Technology leadership team with other tasks and projects as required

Are you our next Business Systems Analyst?

    • You have a Bachelor’s degree or post‑secondary education in business, information systems, or a related field, completion of a recognized Business Analysis program, and/or equivalent business experience
    • You have 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting agile projects involving PLM, ERP, SaaS platforms, and/or system integrations
    • You have experience supporting end‑to‑end system implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration support, testing, deployment, and change management
    • You communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, clearly articulating and documenting business processes, systems, and requirements
    • You have strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple, competing priorities, and tight deadlines
    • You demonstrate strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills, with a high bar for accuracy, detail, and quality of deliverables
    • You proactively identify root causes and develop practical, scalable solutions
    • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
    • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
    • You are motivated to continuously improve - seeking out new technologies, ideas, and better ways of working
    • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
    • You have exposure to supply chain, manufacturing, or sustainability‑related systems
    • You are familiar with apparel, outdoor, or retail industry workflows
    • You have exposure to regulatory‑ or compliance‑driven technology initiatives

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is CAD$82,000 - CAD$108,000
