We are seeking a motivated and analytically-minded student to join our Corporate FinTech team as a Business Systems Engineer Intern. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial planning technology, working alongside senior Model Builders and our Anaplan Center of Excellence. You'll contribute to real FP&A solutions while developing technical skills in one of the leading enterprise planning platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in building and maintaining Anaplan dashboards, reports or models under the mentorship of senior Model Builders 
  • Support data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure model accuracy
  • Participate in testing of model changes and updates
  • Learn to translate simple business requirements into functional model components
  • Opportunity to assist with basic data integrations and automation routines
  • Provide first-level end-user support and troubleshooting
  • Support FP&A use cases including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and training sessions
Experience:
  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree at a university in Canada (required) in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with a graduation date between December 2026 and Summer 2027 (required). For any candidates who are master's students who worked between their bachelor's and master's programs: candidates should also have less than 2 years of relevant full-time work experience
  • Available during Summer 2026 for the internship in Toronto
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts (budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting)
  • Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Exposure to SQL, data analysis tools, or business intelligence platforms (preferred but not required)
  • Interest in financial technology and enterprise software
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Self-motivated with ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior internship or project experience with data analysis or business systems (a plus)

The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is $40-$45/hour CAD. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
