- Expected salary range: $92,000 - $98,000 CAD

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform circuit extraction, active and passive device identification from high resolution images
- Operate proprietary CAD tool to drop recognized devices, set key device parameters (size) and establish connectivity
- Provide detailed analysis of analog, mixed-signal and/or custom digital circuit designs including partitioning and organizing schematics
- Map active and passive devices to image elements and construct the schematic structure
- Preparing die floor plan analysis, standard cell schematic and layout extraction as well as standard cell statistical analysis
- Support customers as needed to discuss technical findings
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- BSc in Electrical Engineering with a preference for microelectronics specialization
- A minimum of 5+ years relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of CMOS or FinFET circuit design, including basic building blocks such as amplifiers, converters, voltage generation, clocking or digital logic circuits
- Strong understanding of the physical design (layout) of microelectronic devices
- Experience with one or more of the following technology areas:
- SDRAM, NAND flash or embedded memories
- RF transceivers or power management
- Processors
- A team player attitude with the ability to also work well on self-directed projects
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to proactively identify risks and areas of concern related to project timelines and scope

This role is on-site at our Ottawa office.
