As we continue to innovate, we are looking for a talented Cloud Specialist to join our team and help drive our cloud initiatives forward.

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Specialist to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that support our business objectives. This is a hands-on technical role that requires deep expertise in AWS services and a passion for cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Cloud Architecture: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS.

·        Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate provisioning and management.

·        Cloud Services: Implement and optimize AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, WAF, EventBridge, Config, Control Tower, etc.

·        Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements, implementing robust access controls and monitoring.

·        Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

·        Disaster Recovery: Design and implement disaster recovery and backup solutions to ensure business continuity.

·        Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to support application deployment and integration.

·        Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve cloud-related issues, providing timely support to ensure minimal downtime.

·        Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.

·        Innovation: Stay up-to-date with Cloud advancements and emerging cloud technologies, recommending improvements to enhance our cloud strategy.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·        3+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions on AWS.

·        Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, WAF, EventBridge, Config, Control Tower, etc.

·        Experience with comparable Azure and GCP services is a plus.

·        Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, AWS CloudFormation, etc.

·        Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

·        Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.

·        Experience with general networking infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, switches, routers, etc.) is a plus.

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

·        Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

·        AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
