Abilene, Texas, United States

SCOPE/CONTACTS:         

The incumbent has frequent contact with customers, and some contact with other departments.  Customer contact is primarily by telephone, and by written correspondence.  Results of work are spot‑checked and physical effort required is average.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Must be able to learn Bank Collecting procedures and related state and federal laws. 
  • Must be firm, but fair, with delinquents and provide assistance in handling financial responsibilities.  
  • Actively participate in the sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established Bank policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Twelve months experience in collection, lending, banking, administration or outbound calls.
  • Bank lending/loan operation experience is preferred. 
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, dependability, self-motivated, and a sense of urgency.
