As the Commercial Communications Manager, you will be crafting and distributing effective communications to support our sales teams, ensuring alignment, driving engagement, and improving overall sales performance through clear, consistent, and impactful internal communications.
A Day in the Life
- Commercial Communications: Work closely with commercial leadership, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and effective communication, including coordination of all Commercial Communications – monthly Commercial Connect meetings, product launches, and issues management communications for client relationship managers
- Content Creation: Work with sales leadership and Commercial Excellence team to develop and maintain sales enablement content, including sales sheets, presentations, playbooks, FAQs, and other sales resources
- Support Training: Work closely with L&D team to support sales training and onboarding programs, ensuring the sales team is equipped with the necessary information on upcoming training opportunities ad mandated learning e.g. new product launches
- Sales Tool Communications: Communicate updates, enhancements and available training for all sales enablement tools and platforms – LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Showpad, vPlaybook, and others
- Sales Performance Measurement and Communication: Communicate launch and progress of sales campaigns and support annual SKO and Winners Circle events
- Org Readiness & Change Management Coordination: Supporting the alignment of sales team with broader organizational changes, ensuring they are ready to implement new strategies and tools. Includes coordinating change management efforts to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of new practices across the sales team
- Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from sales teams to refine communication strategies and improve enablement efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, communications, or a related role within a high-performance sales organization
- Proficiency with sales enablement platforms, CRM systems, and content management tools
- Strong communication skills – excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for creating and delivering effective messages
- Content creation skills – an ability to create engaging and informative content
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute communication strategies that align with sales goals
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- An understanding of the sales process and sales enablement best practices
- An analytical mindset and drive for continuous improvement
- An ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
The hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200 to $136,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
