Synopsis of the Role

A fantastic opportunity for a Communications Specialist to join the Corporate Communications teams. You will execute employee and customer-facing strategies for various channels. You’ll communicate the company’s strategic direction, support key business priorities, and advance the company’s reputation and brand through well-designed, strategic communications and public relations initiatives. You will write and prepare materials for various internal communications channels, promote corporate communications initiatives with internal and external stakeholders, and provide internal and external communications support. Hybrid role with opportunity to work remotely 2 days.

What you’ll do

  • Develop marketing/communications programs - channels, tactics and timing.

  • Create and execute content and communications for internal and external audiences, including:
    collateral materials, employee and customer communications, social media materials, media releases, event materials, email marketing content, e-newsletters, digital presentations, web content, intranet copy, sales materials, infographics, etc. 

  • Conduct program measurement and reporting.

What experience you need 

  • 2-4  years experience in Communications or Public Relations.

  • Excellent writing, editing and research skills, with superior knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and style (Canadian Press). 

  • Strong attention to detail, taking pride in delivering on commitments. 

  • Strong people, time and project management skills. 

  • Proactive, innovative, creative, positive, articulate and professional. 

  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
