You lead the plan-do-check-act (PDCA) process of the site quality management system and report results to the quality section manager.
How you will contribute
You will support elements of the site's quality system, including internal documentation and change management control including quality policies amendments and registration of internal and external documentation, internal audits, effective PDCA cycles and CAPA system management and management review. In addition, you will coordinate the eQCMS bi-annual review, handle consumer complaints from start to finish, and serve as a key contact for food regulatory agency inspection and contacts management.

More about this role
The primary responsibilities of this position will be to assist in the updating and maintenance of all Compliance Programs and Documentation (GMP, FSSC, HACCP, etc) for the Gladstone facility; and support the daily operations to conform to corporate and local Quality Policies and SOPs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in monitoring and updating of all programs around Compliance.
  • Participate in preparations and execution of Third Party, Corporate and Regulatory Audits.
  • Ensure all core competency training are completed according to schedule and requirements to the policy and when there are policy updates.
  • Manage the investigation of Consumer Complaints, root cause analysis, corrective actions (CAPAs) and support in investigation of internal non-conformances to ensure timely closure.
  • Assist in the Change Control program leading the cross functional team approval, creating and revising SOPs/WI/ QPs and updating applicable programs.
  • Support in the management of non-conforming materials ensuring that they are properly controlled, identified and dispositioned appropriately.
  • Schedule internal audits, inspections, verification and calibration functions to support Quality and Production requirements.
  • Work safely and diligently to avoid hazards. In the workplace and department.
  • Must be able to prioritize work to be most efficient and effective.
  • Be able to work independently and proactively to perform duties.
  • Other tasks may be assigned by the Compliance Manager.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Technical / Functional skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, Regulatory Affairs or Science.
  • 2-years' experience in a related field
