Job Responsibilities:
What you can expect
- Use of Docker containers to encapsulate deliverables and virtualize system dependencies
- IP Networking (e.g. DHCP, VLAN) shall be used to connect components at the application level. These will be primarily configured by a shared router and secondarily configured at the Docker interface
- Use of USB Peripherals in order to facilitate direct vehicle connection (e.g. CAN), which will be centralized whenever possible and mapped into Docker where necessary
- ROS2 shall be the standardized Middleware at the application level

- Tenacity and Flexibility - You bypass blockers and figure out solutions without frequent intervention
- Strong Technical Communication - You can teach others how your solutions work
Cross Compilation and Multi-Platform support for C and C++ software. Ideally familiar with:
- CMake configuration
- Compiler features (macros, pragmas, defines, linking, etc.) of GCC, Clang, MSVC
- Porting windows software for POSIX interfaces
Strong understanding of modern IP Networking and how to configure routers to achieve things like:
- VLAN subnets shared by multiple devices
- DHCP routing at multiple levels
- Packet Filtering using tools like iptables and Berkely Packet Filters
- Rate Limiting and Bandwith Management
