Job Description

As part of the Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) team (ULS brand), you’ll join a community of service sales specialists who have strong customer relationships and proven knowledge of service delivery within our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD).  

 

How will you make an impact?  

The Contract Inside Sales Territory Manager is responsible for selling service contracts for the CMD business within the Analytical Instruments Group. In this critical sales position, you will focus on exceeding the sales quotas for our service portfolio by selling and negotiating service plans with end user customers, key decision makers and procurement. You will collaborate with cross-divisional & channel distribution partners, product & application specialists, instrument teams, customer experience and business development teams to help drive sales.  

 

This remote-based position territory covers Canada. The ideal candidate must live in Canada or Northeast United States, specifically PA, NY, OH, MI, WI, VT, NH ME.

Travel: up to 20% including overnight  

 

What will you do?  

·                   Achieve and exceed monthly & yearly sales goals within assigned territory  

·                  Master the central messaging and sales approach for the broader target audience with outstanding knowledge of our service plans  

·                   Act as a resource to others in determining the best course of action in compliance with quality processes and business rules and regulations  

·                   Submits accurate forecasts, weekly reports, monthly highlights, marketing intelligence, and maintains data integrity within SalesForce.com CRM  

·                   Maintain intensity and continually striving to increase service plan penetration coverage of instrument install base  

 

Required Experience:  

·                   Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science or equivalent education and experience  

·                   Minimum three (3) years of selling experience strongly preferred.  

·                   Experience successfully meeting or exceeding sales target in a complex business environment  

·                   Success in territory management plans with a focus on developing long-term relationships  

·                   Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.)  

 

Preferred Experience:  

·                   Familiarity with the following industries: biotech, clinical, pharmaceutical, academic/medical research, environmental, food, forensics, and petrochemical  

·                   Proficiency with sales software like Salesforce.com, SAP and PowerBI  

·                  Experience managing independent selling or distribution channels strongly preferred 

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Canada is $40,600.00–$60,850.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
